Abstract
Reflection spectra of single crystals of Hg1-xMnxTe1-ySey (0.01<x<0.14 , y=0.01) in the far-infrared range (10-600 cm(-1)) are investigated a t 300 and 77 K. A series of new phonon modes is observed, in addition to the longitudinal and transverse modes corresponding to the ternary compounds. (C) 1998 American Institute of Physics. [S1063-7826(98)0070 5-4].
