Abstract
An acoustic model of the sea bottom in a shallow water region is devel oped on the basis of geological-geophysical data and the results of ex perimental studies of sound propagation and sound reflection from the sea bottom. The model consists of two absorbing fluid layers and a sol id halfspace. The computational results are compared with the experime ntal data on sound propagation in a wide frequency range.
