Abstract
Ceramics are materials which have potential for use in high temperatur
e engineering applications because of good properties such as strength
and relative stability at high temperatures. However, before ceramics
can be used extensively for such applications, it is necessary that a
ppropriate test methods are developed for the determination of their h
igh temperature properties.
