Abstract
An explicit description of the construction of inverse limits of local es is given, and some properties of inverse limits of locales are show n by introducing a new type of limits-collectionwise pullback. Specifi cally, a localic version of Steenrod theorem is proved without the axi om of choice and it is shown that an inverse limit of compact spatial loales is in general not spatial. As an application, the classic resul t by Steenrod is generalized.
