Abstract
A one-dimensional quantum model with generalized next-nearest-neighbou r interaction is studied and its conformal field theory is constructed . The numerical results convince us of the existence of a critical phe nomenon in this model. The critical point condition and the value of t he central charge c are given. Also the anomalous scaling dimensions a of the conformal held are given.
