Abstract
Well-developed voltammetry with good reproducibility can be easily obt ained without adding supporting electrolyte by use of a solid polymer electrolyte (SPE) composite microdisk electrode, which is made of a mi crodisk electrode and a SPE membrane. The measured current is dependen t on the dissolution and transport rate of electroactive species in th e SPE membrane. Lf the dissolution of the species in the membrane can be expressed by Henry's law, the current is proportional to the concen tration of the species in organic solution. The linear relationship sh ows the potential applications of SPE composite microelectrodes in the analysis of the electroactive species in organic media.
