Abstract
The dynamics of solitons on saturated films of superfluid He-4 is stud ied under the condition of an overtaking collision of the solitons, It is shown that under second order in the nonlinearity, the effect of t he collision is elastic. An explicit expression for the solitary solut ion with appropriate correction for the amplitude dependence of wave s peed is obtained.
