Abstract
yl-beta-(N,N-dialkylamino)-alpha-isocyanoacrylates readily prepared fr om the reaction between various secondary amines, N-formylimidazole di ethylacetal and methyl isocyanoacetate, can be used to increase the di versity of the isonitrile input in multi-component condensation, such as the Passerini reaction.
