Abstract
1,3-Dipolar cycloaddition reactions of chromone nitrones 1 have been c arried out successfully under microwave irradiation. The reaction of n itrone 1 and alkene 2 proceeds regiospecifically at atmospheric pressu re and the corresponding chromone linked isoxazolidines 3 are obtained in high yields.
