Abstract
The aim of this work is to generalize to the weighted case some result s and algorithms concerning L-2 approximation by analytic and rational functions which are useful when performing the identification of unkn own transfer functions of a class of stable (linear causal time-invari ant) systems from incomplete frequency data.
