Abstract
Transesterification reactions of trialkoxysilanes SiR(OR')(3) [R = (CH 2)(3)Cl, R' = Me; R = (CH2)(3)NH2, R' = Et] with fullerenols C-60(OH)( x) (x = 12, 18) give different products containing totally or partiall y hydrolyzed OSiR(OR')(2), O2SiR(OR') and, possibly, O3SiR attached sp ecies in a variable number.
