Abstract
A modem approach for the implementation of the return channel of broad band wireless systems based on DECT-like layers is described. The phys ical and MAC features are illustrated and the system performance is ev aluated by computer simulations. Numerical results show that the propo sed approach yields a high throughput and minimum message delay.
