Abstract
A fast motion search scheme is proposed for warping prediction (WP). B ecause of the iterative motion search, the computational load of WP is too great to be used in practical applications. If a proper node clas sification scheme is used, we can restrict iterative search within a v ery small subset of nodes without noticeable degradation in performanc e.
