Abstract
A simple method using the magnetic vector potential to directly analys e a radial-line/coaxial-line junction is presented. The admittance of the junction as seen from the coaxial line is obtained by the TEM appr oximation where the radial line is perfectly matched. The result is eq uivalent to previously published results.
