Abstract
A Lorentz covariant generalization of quantum state diffusion is const ructed by associating a Dirac wave function and a Lindblad operator to each flat, spacelike hypersurface in Minkowski space. The proof of re lativistic covariance is given and the necessary integrability conditi on for the stochastic process is derived. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B. V.
