Abstract
Optical parameters of the solid solution Hg1-xZnxTe as functions of x are discussed and compared with experimental data wherever possible. S emi-empirical and reliable relations are developed for the energy gap, refractive index, effective mass, matrix element and absorption coeff icient of this material.
