Y. Gillet et C. Bissieux, THERMOELASTIC ANALYSIS UNDER HARMONIC EXCITATION - COMPARISON BETWEENOPTICAL AND ELECTRONIC HEAT-SOURCES, EUROPEAN PHYSICAL JOURNAL-APPLIED PHYSICS, 2(2), 1998, pp. 117-125
The thermal behaviour of a sample submitted to a sinusoidal optical ir
radiation or a sinusoidal electronic irradiation is modelled in axisym
metrical two-dimensional geometry. This modelling mixes an integral tr
ansform and a one-dimensional thermal harmonic response. It shows the
spherical thermal behaviour of the harmonic heat diffusion. The same s
olving method is applied to the Navier-Stokes equation using one-dimen
sional acoustic harmonic responses. The latter solution leads to the c
alculation of the displacement field. Finally, the two heat sources ar
e compared from thermal and thermoelastic points of view.
