Abstract
In this paper we analyze a two-dimensional model of electrochemical co rrosion by combining two qualitative approaches: a method based on the feedback circuits found in the Jacobian matrix and a nullcline techni que. This leads us to map out regions of the parameter space where the system exhibits sustained oscillatory behavior and/or multistationari ty. The results are confirmed by numerical integration.
