Abstract
In the above-mentioned paper [SIAM J. Control Optim., 34 (1996), pp. 2 116-2132], despite the correct results, the proof of Theorem 4.6 has a subtle mistake. In the following paragraphs the correct proof, includ ing Lemmas 4.7, 4.8, and 4.9, are given.
