Abstract
I am currently alarmed about 2 things. They are: the use of advertising to "sell" the quality of doctors and hospitals to patients, and the return of lectures in medical schools and hospitals as a method of teaching rather th an emphasizing the value of a "true teacher" who works with small numbers o f trainees.
