Abstract
We present the spectroscopic observations of 56 quasars that were disc overed by AQD (Automated Quasar Detection) in a field of similar to 25 .3 deg(2), centred at (1950) RA 10(h)40(m)00(s), Dec. 05 degrees 00'00 ''. These observations, with the CTIO 4-m telescope, led to the discov ery by Clowes and Campusano of a large group of quasars with size simi lar to 100 -200 h(-1) Mpc at z similar to 1.3. Quasars of particular i nterest are noted, including one that is a BAL quasar with z similar t o 1.78.
