Abstract
This is the first report of a successful first metatarsophalangeal joint me dial bipartite sesamoidectomy using great toe arthroscopy. The surgical tra uma associated with open operative sesamoidectomy can be minimized using mi nimally invasive techniques under arthroscopic control. The authors describ e the surgical principles and discuss the advantages compared with traditio nal surgery.
