Abstract
C-13 CP/MAS NMR spectra of 3'-azido-3'-deoxythymidine (AZT) are interpreted in the light of the published X-ray diffraction structure. The interpretat ion provides for fast proton jumps in hydrogen bonds between the AZT molecu les in dimers, and a slow puckering motion of the furanose rings. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V.
