Abstract
Recently, the classification of high-T-c superconductors (HTS) and the number of stages of intercalation have become of interest to scientis ts. The stage number is closely related to the layer force range. In t his paper we discuss the layer force range and try to estimate the pos sible stage number and structure number of CuO2-layer-based HTS and ot her related materials in practice.
