Abstract
Mussels and sediments sampled from the lagoon of Venice were analyzed by a rapid method developed for the quantitative analysis of organotin compounds . The concentrations of tributyltin (TBT) in mussels were higher than in se diments. This determination, even if reduced to a particular zone of the lagoon, rep resents the first monitoring in this area about TBT.
