Abstract
The ventralisation of the tuberositas tibiae in cases of retropatellar chondropathy is a commonly used technique in human surgery. In this p aper a technique for the transposition of the tuberositas tibiae in do gs with patellar luxation is proposed, which combines the transpositio n of the insertion of the patellar ligament with a cranialisation. Tha t reduces the retropatellar pressure and provides a better biomechanic al function of the patella.
