Abstract
'-(3-Aminopropylamino)-6'-deoxy-cyclomaltaheptaose (beta CDpn) exhibit s enhanced complexation of tryptophan anion, by comparison with beta C D, while the nickel(II) complex of beta CDpn complexes tryptophan anio n even more strongly and exhibits a tenfold enantioselectivity in favo ur of the (S)-tryptophan anion.
