Abstract
The anodic photocurrents at the 'isomeric' redox-polymer trilayer-film assemblies, {electrode(-0.2 V)/redox(1)(-0.42 V)/redox(2)(-0.64 V)/se nsitizer(-0.81 V)) and (electrode(-0.2 V)/redox(2)(-0.64 V)/redox(1)(- 0.42 V)/sensitizer(-0.81 V)} (redox(1,2) = polymeric diquat homologues , sensitizer = polymeric Ru(bpy)(3)-derivative), are mainly governed b y the sequence of redox(1) and redox(2), i.e. the forward or reverse b ias of the intrinsic redox-type diode.
