Abstract
The X-ray crystal structure of [Pd(CBDCA-O,O')(NH3)(2)] shows that it is isostructural with the anticancer drug carboplatin 'Paraplatin'; th e mechanism of formation of this complex from reaction of [Pd(NH3)(4)] (2+) With H(2)CBDCA has been elucidated by NMR spectroscopy.
