Abstract
The growth hormone-releasing factor (GHRF) gene has been mapped by dif ferent authors alternatively at 20p12 and 20q11.2. In situ hybridizati on of the relevant probe to metaphases of two patients with different tranlocations involving 20q has allowed us to map it definitively at 2 0q11.2.
