Abstract
The lowest order QED radiative corrections to the radiative large angle Bha bha scattering process in the region where all kinematic invariants are lar ge compared to the electron mass are considered. We show that the leading l ogarithmic corrections do not factorize before the Born cross section, cont rary to the picture assumed in the renormalization group approach. The lead ing and non leading contributions for typical kinematics of the hard proces s at the energy of the Phi factory are estimated. (C) 1999 American Institu te of Physics.
