Abstract
Seven cases with childhood ovarian tumors are presented. All underwent an ultrasound scan which gave the the preliminary diagnosis of ovaria n tumor. Treatment differs according to the status of the child and wh ether malignity is involved. The numerous differential diagnoses must be kept in mind. The management of children with an unexplained abdomi nal mass should include an ultrasound scan.
