Abstract
The authors report a case of cerebral heterotopia in the tight temporofacia l region of a neonate. The lesion presented as a massive cystic swelling co ntaining cerebrospinal fluid. It produced calvarial and facial bone deformi ties. After the mass was excised, histological examination revealed glial t issue and choroid plexus.
