The spin-wave spectrum of the Nd2CuO4 exchange-noncollinear four-subla
ttice antiferromagnet has been investigated theoretically. It is shown
that there exists a quasi-two-dimensionality of the spin-wave spectru
m when the wave vector is oriented along a certain direction. This qua
si-two-dimensionality originates from a specific crystal and magnetic
symmetry of Nd2CuO4 and is in no way connected with the small values o
f some exchange parameters in comparison with others. Further, the ine
lastic neutron scattering by magnons in Nd2CuO4 has been considered an
d the effects of the exchange enhancement of the scattering intensitie
s for some particular Bragg peaks are analyzed.
