Abstract
We present results of investigation of transient and stable color centers g enerated in YAlO3 and YAlO3, Nd crystals under the influence of gamma, cont inuous wave and pulsed UV irradiation in the 30-300 K temperature range. In fluence of the color centers on lasing characteristics of YAP-Nd crystals i s also studied. The models of color centers in the examined crystals are di scussed.
