Abstract
The molecular crystal model(Holstein model) is studied versus temperature a nd dimensionality by taking into account the effect of the intermolecular f orces. The phonon dispersion relations strongly influence the polaron band narrowing factor. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
