Abstract
The narrow Raman band of alpha-boron is investigated from the viewpoint of general trends of two-phonon DOS. Mechanical and optical anharmonicities ar e evaluated to study higher-order spectra of alpha-boron. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
