Abstract
The one phonon Raman scattering efficiency for zincblende-type semiconducto rs in high magnetic fields has been obtained. Special emphasis has been giv en to the enhancement of the electronic lifetime broadening due to resonant coupling between different intraband states by the LO-phonons. The sharp r esonances obtained by magneto-Raman scattering in GaAs further allow the id entification of magnetopolaron effects. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
