Abstract
The self-assembly of the complementary components AP(2) and AU(2), thr ough hydrogen bonding and 2,6-diacylaminopyridine groups, yields polym eric supramolecular rigid rods (AP(2), AU(2))(n) that present a lyotro pic mesophase.
