The integro-differential equations which describe diffusion of the had
ronic component in the atmosphere are exactly solved by means of the s
uccessive approximation method. The numbers of muons and neutrinos pro
duced are derived from the hadron fluxes obtained as the solution of t
he above-mentioned equations. The primary cosmic ray spectrum used in
our calculation is presented in a general form G(E).
