Abstract
A general kinetic scheme describing the main features of polymerization of 2- and 4-vinylpyridine under the action of allyl derivatives of chromium(II I), tungsten(IV), and molybdenum(IV) is described. Structural transformatio ns of the macromolecule formed by polymerization of 4-vinylpyridine under t he action of tris-pi-allylchromium were studied as influenced by the monome r conversion.
