Abstract
Sodium borohydride reduced, at the chiral interface of an amphiphilic dendr imer, prochiral ketones to the corresponding chiral alcohols in high yields (>90%) with enantioselectivities over 95% in THF (ex: ee of 99.4% was obta ined in reduction of acetophenone).
