CLEANUP AND QUANTIFICATION OF POLYCHLORINATED DIBENZO-P-DIOXINS FURANS AND POLYCHLORINATED-BIPHENYLS/

By using modern techniques of isotope dilution, high-resolution gas ch romatography/high-resolution mass spectrometry and multiple ions detec tion, an effective cleanup, qualitative and quantitative method was de veloped for polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins/furans (PCDD/F) and poly chlorinated biphenyls analysis. Based on the chromatographic relative retentions of PCDD/F, a software was established for automatic peak re cognition of all the isomers from tetra- to octachlorine PCDD/F. It en sured good reliability and accuracy of the analytical data.
