Abstract
Microwave absorption is measured in highly textured, dense ceramic sam ples of YBa2Cu3O6.9 obtained by the quench and melt growth technique. The measurements on samples cooled down to the superconducting state i n an external magnetic field allow to carry out an analysis of the mag netic flux trapping. Its character is found to be isotropic despite di stinct structural anisotropy of the studied materials confirmed by the results of X-ray analysis and optical microscopy in polarized light. An attempt to interpret the results within the model of intergrain Jos ephson junctions is made.
