Abstract
Eight species of Massarina and one of Lophiostoma are reported from tr opical streams. A description is given for each species and light micr ographs of previously poorly illustrated or remarkable species are pre sented. Three species of Massarina: M. peerallyi, M. purpurascens, M. thalassioidea, and one species of Lophiostoma: L. maquilingense, are n ew to science.
