Abstract
Saprolegnia polymorpha, a new species, is described and illustrated. T
he fungus occurred as a parasite in the gills of a fish, Koi carp. The
fungus has a complex sporangium, with up to ten exit tubes, rather th
an the one exit tube which is usually found in this genus.
