Abstract
The influence of degree of oxidation of KAU and SCN carbon sorbents by different oxidizers on acidity of surface functional groups, their qu alitative composition and also selective sorption of copper and lead i ons from drinking water in static and dynamic conditions were studied The mechanism of formation of different types of acidic groups on carb on surface in process of its progressive oxidation is proposed.
