Abstract
Photo-initiated polymerization of the model system comprising epoxy re sin ED-20 and methacrylic acid deposited as a thin layer between KBr o r Teflon windows was studied by IR spectroscopy. It was shown that KBr substrate inhibits cationic polymerization. and changes the relative rates of cationic and radical processes, thus affecting the structure of the end-product.
