Abstract
The data, that have appeared over the last years, concerning the disso ciative electron transfer reactions in which the electron transfer cau ses a practically concerted dissociation of a chemical bond in one of the reagents, are surveyed. Numerous experimental data on the reaction s in gas phase and in solutions, and existing theoretical models for d escribing the kinetics of these complex processes are discussed.
