Abstract
Exploratory work on scaling the H-mode threshold power with edge non-d imensional quantities was first undertaken based on the JT-60U H-mode database. Predominant edge rho dependence as well as the strong negat ive contribution of edge beta were found. Obtained scaling is consiste nt with the global parameter dependences and also satisfies the non-di mensional constraint.
